Some of the Best Blackjack Strategies that You Should Know

Do you want to know how you can win in blackjack? As a player, you want to minimize your losses and increase your chances of winning because you want to take home as much money as possible and minimize how much money you need to spend.

Blackjack is one of the most enjoyable games that you can play in an online casino (let alone a real one). There are countless betting strategies that you can use to help you win and, in this article, I will go over each one.

Before I Begin

Before I talk about some really good betting strategies that will help you win, I want to say something important to you. Although these tips will surely help you increase your odds of winning, it is not a foolproof or guaranteed way that you are going to win.

However, I am going to do the best that I can to help you achieve an enjoyable game. So, without further ado, let’s get started.

Learn the Basics

Most (if not all) of the Blackjack strategies that you can find online would typically say something about a particular action. To help you understand what they mean, it is important that you first know exactly what those terms mean.

There are some basic things that you must first learn before proceeding. Whenever the dealer presents his/her open card, you should make a decision. Here are the most basic ones:

  • Hit
  • Stand
  • Double
  • Split
  • Surrender

After getting yourself acquainted with these terms, you can then use the basic strategy chart to your advantage. I highly recommend that you print out a version of the basic strategy blackjack chart to help you know which strategies you can use at any given moment. This should serve as your first step.

Use a More Conservative Approach

As a complete beginner, you might go all gung-ho when you are trying to play. You might think to yourself that you are only doing this for the experience, but I am here to tell you that whenever you win, you will experience an all-time high that you want to feel over and over again.

That being said, it is a natural fear for beginners to be losing money. Sure, you might enjoy the overall experience but I am willing to bet that you are not going to smile when you see that you’re actually losing a lot of money than you’re earning.

Therefore, I highly recommend that you use a more conservative approach, like only raising your bet every time you win a game.

As much as I don’t want to point you towards the game being too predictable and despite what others might say, there is a pattern. Call it Gambler’s fallacy or whatnot but there will come a point that you will win a game or two after consecutive losses.

Of course, you’d still want to be cautious with the moves you are going to make, but if you are on a losing streak, do not worry; there will be sunshine after the rain, so to speak (in other words, you are going to win, just wait).
